Background

About United Medical College

United Medical College was established in the year 2019 with the intention of producing qualified doctors to provide much needed health care at reasonable costs to the ever increasing population of Bangladesh.

Even though our medical college is fairly new, within a short period of time, we aspire to become the nation’s premier medical college, boasting international standards.

As of now, we have enrolled five batches of students, whom we have welcomed from all backgrounds. This rich diversity of our student body coupled with the finest, highly qualified faculty members aims to contribute to our mission of educating outstanding health care professionals for the rapidly advancing scientific world.

Our Journey to Global Medical Excellence

In the coming years, we intend to cater to increasing number of foreign students seeking a medical education in Bangladesh.

With time, in addition to being approved by the national regulatory bodies (MOHFW and DGHS, DU, BMDC), we hope to become enlisted in the WHO World Directory Of Medical Schools and be registered by the medical councils of other countries like the UK, USA, Australia, India.

Alhamdulillah. It is a matter of great pleasure that United Medical College has already enrolled 5 batches of students. Medical science is advancing with the advancement of global changes that are happening in medical education.

To keep pace with the global changes, selecting a college to study medicine is one of the most important decision you will ever make. Considerable factors for making a college preference include location, quality teaching staff, teacher student ratio, learning environment, academic support resources, campus facilities, accommodation, co-curricular activities and so on. I hope, United Medical College has fulfilled something beyond the above factors. The vision and mission of the authority of United Medical College is to make the United Medical College and Hospital as the “crown” of the United group.

Alhamdulillah. By the grace of almighty Allah, I inform all of you that United Medical College invites it’s 5th batch of students for admission. It is a memorable moment for United Medical College. I congratulate the committed principal, dedicated teachers and staff of United Medical College.

Education is the backbone of a nation. Study of medicine is not an easy task. We have renowned professors and teachers of different medical college of Bangladesh like Dhaka Medical College, Sir Salimullah Medical College etc. Our target is to establish this medical college as one of the best medical college of the country, so that the medical graduates delivered by this medical college may be able to take up the challenges of the future medical education and services of national and international requirements.
